Why is there a limit on size?
Playing audio and video files over the Internet is a lot more compicated then playing files locally on your PC. Because of bandwidth restrictions, specifically for dial-up users, large files can take a long time, up to hours, to load and play over the Internet. We cap file sizes at 2.5mb so that it doesn't take users 4 hours to load your clip. A 2.5mb clip can take dial-up users 15 minutes to load rendering their Net connection unusable during the download time.
3.
Why is my video choppy?
Many factors can contribute to choppy video. Choppy video is not due to your wedding website, it will be from one of the following factors. Browsers are supposed to preload part of your audio/video file before starting to play it, loading it in it's cache will let it play through completely and smoothly. Firefox has been known to start video files early and that leads to choppy video. Internet Explorer 6 seems to preload correctly.
Other factors can be the speed and size of your PC's video card, processor and Net connection. Your browser should also have the most up to date plug-ins for the file format you are trying to view.
4.
My files are not appearing or playing?
If an audio or video file does not appear on your site after uploading a functional file, it ususally means that your browser does not support playback of that file type. You can download the newest version of your browser or look for plug-ins that will add support to your browser.
